On Thursday 8th February, we had our head in the clouds (quite literally) at Europe’s highest office with the brilliant team from Leading Cyber Ladies. Our CEO, Amy, was invited to be part of one of their quarterly in-person meet ups, featuring a panel all about personal branding.
If you know Amy, you’ll know personal branding is a hot topic for her, so she was delighted to be a part of the event and talk through her viewpoints on branding alongside the wonderful Tulin Green, Senior Director EMEA Marketing at Confluent.
Our CEO, Amy, said:
“Having had the chance to reflect on the event over the last couple of days, I think it’s wonderful to have been able to sit in a room full of women and talk openly about being more confident, giving less of a fuck, and putting yourself out there.
As women, we’re often shy about saying how bloody brilliant we are and I think we need to be vocal about it. I’d love to see more women shouting about their achievements and sharing their insights without the fear of being thought arrogant or cocky.
It was an absolute pleasure to be surrounded by such talented ladies and I look forwards to being involved with future events.”
