ITSMF Breach Bletchley

We're heading to hallowed ground.
On 26th February, we'll be at the ITSMF cyber security event hosted at the National Museum of Computing in Bletchley Park, a fitting setting for a day focused on how cyber risk really plays out inside IT service management.
So we're bringing The Breach to kick off the event and giving attendees the chance to step into a live cyber incident. Participants will work through a series of puzzles to determine how High Tech Inc got hacked, identifying whose credentials got leaked, how they got leaked, and where. Culminating in them speaking to the hacker to get the decryption key back.
No theory. No passivity. Just practical, immersive exposure to real pressure. With our trademark twists and humour thrown in to drive engagement.
It's a deliberately different start to the day, because behaviour doesn't change from being told what to do. It changes when people experience what does happen.
Cyber Security Through an ITSM Lens
The wider event brings together leaders from across the IT Service Management community to explore the growing intersection between service operations and cyber security.
We're especially looking forward to hearing from Valerie Wilson, Service Operations Director at BT, alongside other industry voices, as the conversation moves beyond controls and frameworks into operational reality.
For ITSM professionals, cyber incidents aren't abstract threats, they're service disruptions, customer impact, escalation paths, and decision-making under pressure. This event is about addressing that reality head on.
Why this matters
Cyber security doesn't sit nearly inside security teams anymore. It lives in service desks, operations centres, incident bridges, and escalation calls.
Starting the day with an immersive experience sets the tone for exactly the kind of conversations the ITSM community needs more of: practical, human-centred, and grounded in real operational pressure.
If you're attending, come early. You won't want to miss the opening move.
