Scottish Power’s Digital Summit

Back to Back Breaches at The Digital Summit 2025

On 30th October, we headed to Glasgow for the ScottishPower Digital Summit, running escape rooms throughout the afternoon for senior leaders from across the organisation.

The goal: bring a high-energy, interactive element to the event while supporting the cyber team’s message about human risk and security culture.

We delivered back-to-back sessions of our SOC-style escape room, The Breach, and the response was… intense (in the best way).

What We Delivered

Throughout the summit, delegates stepped into a fast-paced, incident response experience where they had to:

  • Analyse a simulated breach

  • Decode clues across devices and props

  • Work together under pressure

  • Piece together how the attack unfolded

  • Manage the mayhem as a team

The sessions were snappy, competitive, and packed... the perfect counterbalance to the formal summit agenda and an easy way for leaders to experience cyber risk in a tangible, memorable way.

We were also listed as an official event partner, supporting ScottishPower’s cyber team in bringing the day to life.

How it landed

The energy across the afternoon was unreal... every session packed, and every group left buzzing.

The cyber team told us they’d had great feedback, and delegates kept coming back to talk about the experience, the puzzles, and the internal behaviours the scenario highlighted.

We later received more brilliant feedback:

“Thanks for coming along, supporting the event and running the escape room. Crazy amounts of positive feedback from those taking part.”

And:

“Having had a chance to reflect since our Digital Summit, I wanted to extend a big thank you for supporting the event in person. Your efforts made a big difference and added to the experience on the day. I’ve had lots of nice comments and it’s generating more and more conversations.”

This one stuck with us... an organisation fully embracing interactive learning at a senior leadership level. That’s when culture really shifts.

Engaging senior leaders is the fastest way to embed real, lasting culture change.

ScottishPower didn’t just talk about cyber... they let their leaders experience it.

The escape room created shared language, shared emotion, and shared understanding across teams who rarely get the chance to collaborate.

And the ripple effect?

Multiple new conversations, new interest, and a refreshed excitement about awareness across the business.
