Speakers who bring the story to the stage
A social engineer who fooled the White House. A former Credit Suisse CISO. A Royal Marine. A security architect who does stand-up.
We work with a small group of speakers who can open, close or deepen your event, on their own or alongside a SPACE_ installation.
A few speakers our clients love

Amy Stokes-Waters
Amy founded The Cyber Escape Room Co. on one conviction: compliance training doesn't change behaviour, experience does. She has designed most of the company's escape rooms, simulations and scenarios herself, watched thousands of people make security decisions under pressure, and wrote May I Have Your Attention Please? about why most training never lands.
Talks on
- Why cyber training fails, and what to do instead
- The gap between knowing and doing
- From compliance to instinct

James Linton
The social engineer who fooled White House officials, bank chiefs and the head of Homeland Security with nothing but free email accounts and an understanding of how people think. No malware, no exploits. He then turned the same tradecraft the other way, studying the moment a lure does its work, and now trains people in how deception functions.
Talks on
- How a social engineer thinks
- The split second a lure works
- Trust, authority and pressure: what attackers borrow

Dane Clackworthy
More than twenty years in the Royal Marines, including as Chief Communication Manager for the UK's Response Force Task Group, protecting communications across land, sea and air. Dane moved that operational discipline into operational technology security, and is now Sales Director at Waterfall Security Solutions.
Talks on
- The standard you walk past is the standard you accept
- Drilling behaviour until it's instinct
- Resilience, military transition and OT security

Ian Murphy
Ian started his security career at the Ministry of Defence in the early 1990s and has more than thirty years in the industry. He founded CyberOff, an AI security architecture practice, and took up stand-up at 54: he was Devon Comedian of the Year 2023, and the first person in the UK to lose £1 million live on ITV's Red or Black.
Talks on
- The Three P's: People, Passwords and Phishing (comedy keynote)
- Are we stupid or what? Biases, and why humour beats fear
- Red or Black: how boards should make AI decisions

Steve Hill
Thirty years in government with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, with postings in Vienna, Washington, Dubai, Kabul and New York, then Deputy Director in the Cabinet Office's National Security Secretariat, helping to shape UK cyber security policy. Steve went on to become Group CISO at Credit Suisse, and is now an independent board adviser and Honorary Professor in the Department of War Studies at King's College London.
Talks on
- Geopolitics and what it means for people risk
- Our greatest cyber challenge is execution
- Culture as the deciding variable

Michael Sage
Twenty-five years in technology across the public, private and third sectors. Michael leads digital, data, transformation and technology at Chelmsford City Council, is a Fellow of the BCS, and was a Computing Top 100 IT Leader in 2025 and 2026. His talks are candid and often irreverent: honest stories from inside the public sector, meme-driven slides and the occasional Star Trek reference.
Talks on
- Why culture, not software, decides whether change sticks
- Escape the Drudgery: excellence in security and risk
- Transformational Lessons Learned – Ugh People!

Hear it. Then live it.
A talk sets the story. An installation lets people step into it.
Pair a speaker with DIAL., The Carriage or The SOC Room and the audience walks out of the session and straight into the thing they've just heard about. James talks about how attackers borrow trust, then people pick up a phone box handset and find out whether they'd lend it.
Open
A keynote that sets the theme for the day and gets the room talking.
Experience
Installations running through the day, so people feel what the speaker described.
Close
A closing talk, panel or comedy set that ties it back to people's own work.
Booking a speaker, answered.
Can we book a speaker on their own?
Yes. Any of our speakers can be booked for your conference, away day or internal event, with or without a SPACE_ installation.
What formats do they do?
Keynotes, panels, fireside conversations and workshops. Ian also does stand-up spots of ten to thirty minutes for awards evenings, dinners and conference socials.
Can a talk be tailored to our audience?
Yes. Every booking starts with a call to agree the audience, the theme and what you want people to leave with, and the talk is shaped around it.
Can speakers pair with a SPACE_ installation?
That's often the best way to use them. A speaker opens the day and sets the story, the installation lets people live it, and a closing talk ties it back to their own work.
Do you have full speaker profiles?
Yes. Ask us and we'll send full profiles, session outlines and availability for the speakers you're interested in.
Put one on your stage.
Tell us about your event, your audience and your theme. We'll come back with the right speaker, their full profile and availability.
